Little Claire - Book Owl Tent Card

Good morning,

Here is another 'Little Claire Likes' Monday Project for you.

Today, we are showcasing the lovely 'Book Owl' stamp set.  It is a 'great for all occasions' stamp!

We are offering this stamp set at the special price of £4.50 (normally £5.50) until Thursday, 1st January 2015 or whilst we have stock.  You can treat yourself HERE.

Heidi has made a 'Flag' card using the set and elements from another called 'Good Times'.

Here are a list of products used on the card :

Little Claire 'Book Owl' stamp - £4.50
Little Claire 'Good Times' stamp set - £8.99
Memento 'Tuxedo Black' Inkpad - £3.90
Distress Inkpad - Faded Jeans (set of four diff ink pads) - £7.99
Distress Inkpad - Tumbled Glass (set of four diff ink pads) - £7.99
White A4 Stamping Card
Blue Dotty Bazzill Card
Black stones
Double-sided tape, sticky pads and sharp scissors

How card was made :

(1) Cut two pieces of white card to measure : 21cms x 11cms.
(2) On one piece, score at 3.5cms and 7cms.
(3) On second piece, again score at 3.5cms and 7cms on same edge.
(These will be stuck together on opposite sides of the card)
(4) Cut a small oblong to measure : 8cms x 3.5cms.
(5) On oblong, make a small mark 4cms down.
(6) Score a line from top of oblong down to 4cms mark. This makes your 'Flag'.
(7) Cut two oblong pieces of blue card and two smaller in white.
(8) Stamp up 'watch' image from 'Good Times' set all over, ink edges with both ink pads.
(9) Stick together and then onto card sides.
(10) Cut a oblong matt from blue card, cut another in white.
(11) Stamp up 'Book Owl' image to centre and watch image around edges. Ink all around.
(12) Stamp up two separate 'watch' images and a sentiment. Cut out watches and ink all edges.
(13) Stick 'Flag' inside card on side as shown and stick opposite edges together.
(14) Stick all elements down, using sticky pads and tape.
(15) Add black stones to watch centres and around card.

We do hope you have enjoyed our project today.
